21 August 2011: Equity Weekly reports on the controversy between community fishing and medium and large-scale commercial fishing along Steung Hav beach in Sihanoukville province. The community accuses commercial fishermen of affecting small fish and their habitats through illegal practices such as the use of flying nets in shallow waters. The commercial fishermen also express their concern that they cannot go to deeper waters because their boats are too small.
