26 February 2012: A week-long international contest on international law will be conducted in the United States from March 25th this year. In order to select the five best students to represent Cambodia at the contest, the Cambodian Ministry of Justice held an examination last year in August 2011. These five outstanding students, two of whom are female, were selected from among 80 top students from the Royal University of Law and Economy.









18 December 2011: Flooding in Cambodia this year seriously affected 19 provinces, of which Kampong Thom was the most affected. While many sectors in the province were damaged, school buildings deserve special attention since they are essential for human resource development. Among 554 school buildings in Kampong Thom, 210 were affected. This has caused many difficulties to students, who were not able to attend school during the floods because roads were cut off.
31 July 2011: After being released from jail, some ex-convicts relapse and commit new crimes. Equity Weekly investigates the causes of this problem that impacts all society. Our reporters also look at a rehabilitation programme that provides vocational training to inmates who are about to regain their freedom so that they may have skills that will allow them to find a job or start their own small business after they are released from prison.
