Discrimination against People Living with HIV/AIDS

04 December 2011: Cambodia is considered to have been successful in the campaign to reduce HIV/AIDS prevalence. According to a study conducted by National Centre for HIV /AIDS, the prevalence of infection fell to 0.8% in 2010 from 2.2% in 1998 and 1999. While the rate of HIV infection has decreased, some people living with HIV/AIDS still face discrimination, particularly at the workplace. We look at the challenges facing people living with HIV/AIDS and whether discrimination is increasing or decreasing.
