19 August 2012: Natural birds’ nests can add a touch of nature to your home décor but their popularity is raising questions about the potential damage to our ecosystem as sellers may be tempted to destroy the birds’ natural habitats for the sake of profit.









22 July 2012: In the past, tourists travelling by bus between Cambodia and Thailand were forced to get off the vehicles and cross by foot. But now, the borders are open for buses to cross with passengers inside. Although the daily number of buses allowed to cross will be limited, the move is expected to ease the flow of tourists and goods into both countries.
15 January 2012: Approximately 50,000 international and local tourists recently enjoyed Cambodia's first Sea Festival which encourages tourists to visit Cambodian coastal areas rich in biodiversity, including islands and beautiful white sand beaches. The festival also promotes the preservation of beach environments with the slogan "Clean city, clean resort and good service". We look at the steps that need to be taken by the relevant institutions to help manage waste and to keep the beaches clean.
