Female Dormitories (Main Story)
Access to a university education for women is being threatened by a shortage of female-only accommodations. There are around 123 universities and institutions around the country but only a few dormitories are available for female students. Politics and society
The economic empowerment of women is a key strategy to promote gender equality and reduce poverty. Our Politics and Society segment brings you highlights of a workshop aimed at helping the government and civil society identify ways of improving women’s economic development.
