15 January 2012: Equity Weekly this week presents the launch of the Loy9 program which is produced by BBC Media Action with support from the United Nations Development Programme. The purpose of the program is to encourage Cambodian young people to get involved in the development of their communities.

14 August 2011: This is the 12th Anniversary of Youth International Day, which is celebrated worldwide on 12 July. According to Cambodia’s 2008 Census, young people aged between 15 and 30 represent 33% of the nation’s approximately 14 million people. However, only 263,000 people have access to higher education from Associate's to Doctoral degrees.
